Please join us on our journey to bring home our son, William Andrew Graham.

William Andrew Graham was born on August 8, 2006. His name given at birth was Ivan Vladimirovich Bychkov. He was born at 29 weeks in a local hospital in Novokuznetsk, Russia. His mother abandoned him at the hospital and has not been heard from since. At birth he weighed a little over 2 pounds and was 43 cm long. He came to the orphanage in Novokuznetsk in October of 2006. To our knowledge, he is a healthy 2 year old with some mild psycho-speech delays. We now begin our journey to bring home our son who will be known as Drew.

Update Day 13

Well, we have almost been here for 2 weeks! Only 1 week left in Kemerovo and then 1 week in Moscow. It will be better in Moscow because they have things like KFC and McDonald's. It is kind of like Atlanta except everybody speaks Russian!! Tim's underwear has just finished drying. Some kids on the street asked why we had kites flying out our windows. But then we explained those were Tim's underwear and his ass is just really big!! We haven't done anything today but watch a couple of movies and play cards. We will get to see Drew on Thursday and then on Monday we will get to pick him up for good. Say a prayer that he won't get carsick on the 3 hour drive back to the hotel. He has never been in a car before and probably never seen one. He is still really scared of Tim and I, so pray that he warms up to us quickly. We love all of you!!

  2. KFC is no good, chicken small with really dark meat kind of mushy and hard to order. TGIFridays is great we ate it 4 nights in a row. You will not believe how good McDonalds is going to taste. Also a place called American something kind of like dennys, pretty good. Leaving with him from the baby house will be unbelievablly great. Dont worry about how he acts right now. That baby house is all he knows. Hang in there guys. John Galley

  3. Hey
I don't know what to say. I think this is the longest we have gone without seeing you guys. I know yall are ready but just think in less than a week there will REALLY be 4 Grahams. He is a lucky little boy! Did you find anything to eat? I could send you something. We got ALL of the bushes taken out of the yard today and it looks so much bigger, yall won't believe it. That means Tim will have some stumps to grind. So even if the business fallen apart without you Tim there is still work at the McGarvey house...and we have really good AMERICAN BBQ here too. Two things you probably miss alot. We miss yall and hope it flys by.
    Love
