Please join us on our journey to bring home our son, William Andrew Graham.

William Andrew Graham was born on August 8, 2006. His name given at birth was Ivan Vladimirovich Bychkov. He was born at 29 weeks in a local hospital in Novokuznetsk, Russia. His mother abandoned him at the hospital and has not been heard from since. At birth he weighed a little over 2 pounds and was 43 cm long. He came to the orphanage in Novokuznetsk in October of 2006. To our knowledge, he is a healthy 2 year old with some mild psycho-speech delays. We now begin our journey to bring home our son who will be known as Drew.

Update

Hello from Moscow,

Today we walked all the way to Red Square which is about a 40 minute walk from our hotel. On the way we stopped at McDonald's and Drew got his first taste of a cheeseburger happymeal with coke!! He loved the fries the best! It is about 85 degrees here and you have to walk everywhere so we are really sweaty and nasty all of the time. Tomorrow we are going to the flee market with Vladimir. I am not really sure what to expect at the flea market! It is Russia's "independence day" weekend so every night there has been fireworks and parties everywhere! Not much exciting stuff happening here. Drew is doing o.k. He is testing his boundaries with us all of the time. Hopefully this will get better when we get home. Love all of you
Tim, Laura, and Drew

  2. The new pictures are awesome. I'm sure things will be better when you get home. Being able to see AP and just being in America instead of Russia will have to help. And if he gets to rowdy you can just put him in the backyard with Sparky haha I was just kidding. Only a few days left we are looking forward to seeing yall and we continue to pray for you. Be safe and we'll see you soon. Love, Greg

  3. Love the new pics. I know I'm getting really 'Debbie Fowler' here (Ha, sorry Mom) but it must be so amazing to give him these things for the FIRST TIME and see his reactions. I just want to cry at every picture: the sucker, the cheeseburger, the coke and everything! What can I say...Drew is entering a family of schmucks!
So glad your trip is nearing its end. Enjoy the last few days and we'll all try our best not to jump you like a pack of wild dogs when you get back.
    Love you!
